BELLEZZA SENZA TEMPO / TIMELESS BEAUTY

I've never loved clocks and vintage ones are no exception. However, strolling thru the stalls of last month's flea market I spied a pretty clock I immediately felt drawn to. Not one minute of hesitation: I knew right away that she had to be mine (and the price was calling my name: a mere two euro only for such a little treasure).
She is such a TIMEless beauty. Time has been gentle to her: the metal is tarnished and crusty, the face has yellowed but she is such a beauty to my eye so tenderly and romantically aged by the extraordinary patina that time has grace her with.

Guardate i dettagli...shabby ma molto chic!

Look at the details: shabby but tres chic!

    Ed un pò di luccichio
    And some bling

Hugs

Rita

  12. OH! I do understand why you fell for her! It's an adorable little clock. I'm just like you when it comes to clocks. I dont like them much but with one exeption. Swedish Mora clocks (grandfather clocks) I just love them. Unfortunally the size is not the best. They take up a LOT of space. I have one and every now and then I try to find a better place to put it but it's impssible in our little house.:)

    have a great weekend!!

  29. O, Rita thank you dearly for being the first of my visitors, and thank you for your comment. Believe it or not I pondered for a time to or not to take the sweet cage home, I think it was its shape and the fact that it was not your run of the mill cage, and the galvanized patina was the best.
It sits on a french chest center stage in my living room, so its the first thing you notice when entering the home :)

I love your clock and I too have a thing for them, even collecting just there faces in a box of dispaly, there is always time to create, making time for it creatively.

Thank you for gracing your beauty over at my place that makes TIME to inspire!
