MY WHITE WEDNESDAY # 1

WOW MY FIRST WHITE WEDNESDAY!

That's all I could think of all day. I was early in the office this morning and quite late leaving, no lunch break just to make sure I'd finish all I had to do in time to go home and start working on my FIRST White Wednesday... well, with this EST, EDT, GMT and all I'm still perfectly in time, aren't I?
It has taken a lot of preparation - pictures taken by the dozens, never being happy enough with the final results. Plus I still have problems understanding in full all the features of my digital camera hence often times my photos didn't turn out properly - either blurred or with the wrong light. Also, I guess I felt my entree into the weekly White Wednesday appointments should be somehow grand, in order not to disappoint the hostess of this wonderful event.
Looking through the amazing past White Wednesday posts from Kathleen and all the other participants I was hesitant and doubtful on whether my pictures would be up to the charm and great style of the pics shared. All of them are so chic! Mine might turn out to be only shabby LOL! Well, I'm still hesitant and doubtful but I enthuse over the thought of partaking in this special event. I know I'm going to love it.
Thank you for hosting Kathleen!

So all I can say is "HaPpY WhItE WeDnEsDaY" to ya all.

IF I ONLY HAD A GARDEN OF MY OWN!
Not having a garden is among my many regrets in life. Ever since I was a child I dreamt of having one where I could play, dine in the summer months and place a hammock just for some fun.
Then, once the age of innocence was gone, life led us to travel along different paths, some of which paved with great sorrow hence the dream of having a garden was set aside.
Last year my much loved mother passed away and we are now trying to sell her downtown apartment which, for one reason of another, still does not sell. However, trying to keep hope up and trusting in some luck by our side we have dared to pull out the garden dream and started to at least look around.
Meantime, whenever we are in that compulsory "I-need- a- garden" mood all we do is go and visit our aunt and uncle. They have a beautiful garden full of flowers, bushes, herbs and trees and this enables us to enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables whenever possible.
Just thought it would be nice to share with you some of the photos I took during our visit on Sunday.
Have a great weekend.
